Editorial and Communications Assistant for the History of Cartography, Volume Six, The Twentieth Century.
My dissertation focuses on World Heritage management in Mexico, heritage tourism, and the representation of urban heritage districts on tourist maps. Specifically, I discuss on the designation process, the impact (or lack thereof) of legislation and planning measures, and how different or similar Guanajuato, Morelia, and Oaxaca manage their heritage districts.
